Ask the grass - it knows is a site-specific exploration of identity and belonging, based on Sea Sámi, Stina'a' roots, and cultural monuments. Through work with form, choreography, sound, and yoik, we have explored the connection between man and nature, between nature and identity, as well as the connection between our world and our ancestor's world. In what ways are we bound to nature and to our ancestors today? and what happens to us when this connection is broken?
